I do not think it is any harder than learning any thing else. You will learn as fast as you are interested in it. If you like it you will learn fast if you do not then you will learn slower.

SO if you think you will like it , go check a few schools out and watch and maybe try a class and if you do like it try it out!

Find a school that you are interested in near your house and go in for a free introductory class. It’s the only way to find out if it is for you. Before you know it you’ll be learning. What kinds of martial arts are you interested in? We could be of more help if you tell us what you are looking for.

If you are willing to be commited to your martial art then there shouldn’t be much difficulty to learn. I do Taekwondo and i’ve upgraded to greenbelt within a year. You should also decide which martial art is most suitable for you not just for convinience.

it is a bit hard to learn traditional martial arts such as TaiChi, Shaolin Kung Fu. It’s very boring. But u can try Taekwondo, Karate or Jeet Kunt Do. These styles are easier. If u really want to achieve something useful, then u have to be patient.

Some arts take a long time to grasp some of the finer points, but for basic self-defense, it’s easy as pie. Any good instructor will go as slow as you need to learn their art. The art is their passion, and they want to share it with everyone. They won’t give up on you as long as you don’t give up on them.

It’s Only Hard If You Make It Hard.
